we all know the price of gas..

I assure you, this is no get rich quick scheme but it does work.
After all, I'm a cheap bastard who could afford five bucks but is tired of paying all that money into programs that go nowhere. Now you see um, now you don't.

Seriously, Operator11 is the next 2.0 trend product network service etc that people will be fighting to copy and keep up with and or out do. It will be the next big platform for key folks that made places like facebook and myspace pop in the first place. Its a gravy train of early adopter goodness and its gonna infect the web big time the more it refines itself and its experience.

And it’s great to think about how’s it gonna be when we get there, but there’s still a long road ahead. On his article, he points out some things we should be doing, like exporting to YouTube, showing how many are watching your show when it’s live (and who are they!) or better communicating what’s happening live so you don’t need to depend on e-mail.

The good thing is, we are listening, and some of the enhancements he mentions are on the works. Stay tuned, because in the next couple of weeks you’ll see some great improvements. We are working round the clock to make Operator11 better. Nay, the best

Now anyone can become the host of a live internet talk show with software from the Hollywood-based startup company Operator 11. Using a home computer fitted with a webcam and headset, hosts, called netjockeys, use Operator 11's web software to produce, mix, and broadcast shows. In a new twist on the online video model, netjockeys can patch in live video of audience members, who thus become guest stars on the show without having to share a studio with the host. The software further encourages social interaction by running a chat room in conjunction with each show, where people can make comments without appearing on camera.

Josh Harris, the merry prankster of Silicon Alley circa 1999, has emerged from hiding, and launched a new web startup—this time in Los Angeles. Operator11.com, a "social television network," is like a mashup of YouTube and MySpace that allows users to collaborate on the creation of video webcasts. It's also a little like Harris's legendary dot-bomb, Pseudo, but with user-generated content. The site launched in May without fanfare—except for a jeering mention from Valleywag, after an unsuspecting visitor to the site was greeted with live footage of a gentleman whacking off. ("Good publicity," Harris says.) Otherwise, the site has been flying low, an altitude that doesn't come naturally to a serial provocateur once worth as much as $40 million.

There's no denying that live online video is hot right now. Sites like Stickam, Ustream, Justin.tv, and Kyte allow users to broadcast themselves to the world 24/7. On Monday, I had a chance to chat with Josh Harris, the CEO of Operator11, a new entry into the growing field of live online video companies and he told me why he thinks his service pushes the medium in completely new directions.

Operator11, which launched about two months ago, touts itself as an online television network that offers anyone the chance to host their own live television show. Where Operator11 differs from its competitors is that its software allows viewers to actually become guests on the show and participate in more than just text or voice chat.

This site is only a few months old and gaining strength. Here we have live video streaming but with no editing,so be carefull of what you say. You are on live TV. You can host your own shows at any time of the day or simply participate in another's show. This site is free ! As for myself being somewhat of a newby and a little stagefright, I am as of yet just to let loose with a devil my care attitude. When you first join and start broadcasting for yourself the CEO will show up to see what you are about. He won't identify himself right off and neither will I.
